Shanu Kondamuri, MD MBA

Dr. Kondamuri is an experienced expert witness, medico-legal consultant, and trial-tested interventional pain management and spine care specialist.  He has completed Board Certification in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology and Internal Medicine.  He has also successfully obtained added qualifications in Pain Medicine from the American Board of Anesthesiology.  Dr. Kondamuri has given 100s of discovery and evidence depositions, trial testimonies and legal opinions both verbal and written. 

 

Dr. Kondamuri comes to cases well prepared and has no difficulty making complex medical concepts easy to understand for non-medical juries or audiences.  His history of delivering exciting thought-provoking educational lectures to medical audiences and other professional audiences has taught him an easy comfort in front of a jury or in a difficult deposition. Active, board-certified pain management and spine care specialist with 20+ years experience in treating worker’s compensation patients, performing spinal interventions, minimally invasive surgery, IME’s, medical reviews, peer review, causation analysis, depositions, and expert witness testimony. 200+ IME’s. Fellow. SEAK trained. Experienced Expert Witness providing consulting, reports, testimony at deposition and trial.

 

Dr. Kondamuri practices full-time as an interventional pain and spine care specialist.  In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he lectures regularly on various pain management topics including the Opioid Epidemic, Management of the Failed Back Surgery Syndrome, Workplace Safety in Healthcare, Regenerative Medicine, CRPS, etc. He has been published in a variety of journals and is the author of  COMPLEX - A Primer on Complex Regional Pain Syndrome for Attorneys and Health Care Professionals.
